The MA® 9-1/2″ x 12″ steel-reinforced plastic manhole step is a durable, corrosion-resistant solution designed for long-lasting performance. Featuring a black press-fit (PF) design, these steps are hammered into preformed holes in concrete structures. The tapered embedment legs with concentric rings are engineered to crush during installation, enhancing pull-out resistance and sealing the step hole for added security. Made from ASTM D-4101-02 copolymer polypropylene and reinforced with ASTM A-615 Grade 60 1/2″ steel, this product meets ASTM C-478-02 and AASHTO M 199-811 standards when properly installed.
