The 814® 18″ x 30″ cast iron directional flow grate offers approximately 195 square inches of open area and is designed for precise water management—simply turn the grate to reverse flow direction as needed. (flow must be calculated by a qualified engineer) Manufactured in the USA from durable, uncoated ASTM A48 CL35B cast gray iron, this stock item meets TXDOT standard specifications and AASHTO M306-10 requirements. When installed in a rated frame with proper reinforcement, the grate is H-20 traffic rated, delivering exceptional strength, compliance, and long-lasting usability for demanding infrastructure projects.
