The V-1420D “stackable” manhole ring and 1480 cover, watertight or optional grate, made from coated cast or ductile iron, offers durability and versatility for infrastructure projects. Designed as a 30″ standard (DIPPED) bottom-flanged ring, it is a reliable stock item. While cast iron riser rings are unavailable, standard VRM-30® steel risers are in stock, with custom steel riser rings available on special orders. Sold as a set or as individual components, it is H-20 traffic rated when properly installed in reinforced concrete and paired with a genuine 1480 or VRM-30® H-20 traffic rated cover or grate. Standard lettering options include Sanitary Sewer, Storm Sewer, CAM LOCK Sanitary Sewer, and plain. Proudly made in the USA, it meets the highest quality standards for dependable performance.
