The VFG 26X26 Angle Frame and Ductile Drainage Grate is a robust 26″ x 26″ solution featuring a new-style ductile iron grate with a slip-resistant surface and the LLLL® registered trademark. Designed for bottom-flanged applications, this stock item is available as a complete set or as individual frames and grates. Options for pedestrian-rated grates and solid covers are also available—call for details. H-20 traffic rated when properly installed in reinforced concrete, it features an uncoated cast gray iron frame meeting ASTM A48 CL35B or better and AASHTO M306-10 (M105) standards, paired with a cast ductile iron grate meeting ASTM A536 (70-50-05) standards. The uncoated iron is ideal for drainage into creeks, rivers, and waterways. Open area specifications are included in the grate descriptions, with flow data requiring calculation by a qualified engineer.
