At Bass & Hays, we are committed to providing exceptional service, and that includes a smooth and efficient return process. To ensure your returns of waterworks products, manhole covers, or other castings are handled seamlessly, please review and follow our clear guidelines.
How to Initiate a Return
Our process is designed to be straightforward and secure, ensuring your return is credited correctly and quickly. To begin- CONTACT Bass & Hays
1. Obtain a Return Authorization (RMA)
All returns require prior authorization from Bass & Hays. Before sending back any items, you must obtain an RMA form and a unique RMA number. This is a critical first step that streamlines the process and ensures your return is tracked and handled properly upon arrival.
2. Prepare Required Documentation
To process your return efficiently, please include the following documents with your shipment:
- A copy of the original purchase order and its corresponding number.
- The signed picking ticket and/or related invoice(s) for the items being returned.
Including these references helps us quickly verify your purchase and process your credit.
Understanding Return Conditions and Fees
To maintain the quality of our inventory and manage logistics, certain conditions and fees apply to returns.
Restocking Fees
Returns may be subject to a restocking fee ranging from 10% to 50%. The exact fee depends on the saleable or usable condition of the item and any damage it may have sustained. All returned items are subject to a physical inspection and verification by the Bass & Hays team. Our decisions after this inspection are final.
Conditions for Return
To qualify for a refund or credit, returned items must meet the following criteria:
- Items must be in new or saleable/usable condition.
- Items must have been purchased on an order that is less than 8 months old.
- Special order materials or custom-fabricated products are not eligible for return.
- Materials must have originated from Bass & Hays. We cannot accept returns for products purchased from other suppliers.
Policy Exceptions
We understand that unique circumstances can arise. Bass & Hays reserves the right to waive or modify these conditions on a case-by-case basis.
