VTFG Installation Tips

BEFORE POURING ANY CONCRETE: (tips)

  1. Follow your blueprints or engineering plans for exact instructions. Do not deviate from engineering plans.
  2. Completely assemble frames, grates, solid covers or bolted units in forms using proper amount and type of steel reinforcement.
  3. Double check all measurements, and re-check again until you are sure it is correct. Secure all forms.
  4. Poorly measured, secured, or installed forms may result in shifting when pouring concrete causing improper fit between frames and grates, solid covers or bolted units, or may cause shifting resulting in your runs not coming out in line or plumb.
  5. Do not disassemble forms until concrete is COMPLETELY cured.
