The BH3® Lid-8, a 12″ cast iron locking meter box lid with a reader hole for touch-read automated reading devices, is a reliable and durable solution for water meter access. This stock item is made from coated cast gray iron that meets ASTM A48 CL35B or better standards, ensuring long-lasting performance and dependability. It is compatible with BH® 34™, 359®, and 62™ series galvanized meter boxes, as well as BH® P34P™, P359P™, and P34PD™ series plastic meter boxes (with ductile iron rings). While not recommended for traffic applications, this lid is an excellent choice for non-traffic installations. Proudly made in the USA, it combines superior craftsmanship with functional design.
