Founded in 1958 on the principles of craftsmanship, integrity, and hard work, Bass & Hays Foundry, Inc. has a rich history rooted in Texas. What started as Marvin Hays’ part-time backyard foundry in Grand Prairie has evolved into a leading name in the American water and sewer industry.
The story begins with Marvin’s apprenticeship at Taylor Foundry and was further shaped by his son Jack’s experience as a machinist aboard a U.S. Navy tender ship. After the closure of Dallas Foundry, the Hays family, along with their friend Don Bass, combined their passion and expertise to turn a vision into a thriving business.
